The Hearing Hub offers the following services at our clinic in Thundersley. Benfleet:
Ear wax removal
The Hearing Hub provides instant and effective ear wax removal treatment. Microsuction is the gold standard method of ear wax removal. Unlike traditional ear syringing or irrigation, which uses water, micro suction uses gentle suction to remove ear wax. This is a safe, gentle and effective method of ear wax removal and, in the majority of cases, provides instant relief and immediately restores full hearing. The audiologists are trained in all methods of ear wax removal, micro suction, ear irrigation (commonly known as ear syringing) and instrumentation.
Appointments include an examination of your ears and removal of ear wax using micro suction, which typically lasts between 10-30 minutes. Depending on the consistency of the wax, the audiologist may need to revert to ear irrigation (commonly known as ear syringing) or instrumentation. In rare cases, a follow-up visit may be required to remove particularly stubborn ear wax.

Emma started her career as a nurse working in Emergency Medicine before progressing to work as an Aesthetic Nurse. Over the past 20 years Emma has undertaken extensive advanced training in facial rejuvenation and offers an extensive range of facial and body treatments including derma fillers and wrinkle treatments to rejuvenate the face & neck. She is also a Nurse Prescriber.
Emma is passionate about her profession and maintains high standards of patient care. Consultations are free and Emma welcomes any enquiries.
